Socarrat Coming to Mulberry Street?
Word on the Street says the folks behind beloved paella bar, Socarrat, are opening up another location in Nolita in the former Ghenet space. While my friends and I were devastated to see our favorite Ethiopian restaurant go (or revert back to Brooklyn, more accurately), this is really, really exciting. For me. Because I live around the corner, and I love Paella. A lot. I’m moving soon, so sadly, I’ll probably miss Socarrat Numero Dos’s debut, but, happy to hear these guys are doing well. And I’m sure I’ll be back to the neighborhood soon enough to try Socarrat out, and to grab a slice or two here.
