Slow Cooker Moroccan Brisket
A few weeks ago I finally busted out my $30 slow cooker I scored on Gilt. I’ve been wanting one all winter long and in typical Leslie style, it took me until late February to actually buy one and use it. But I love it!
For first slow cooker dish of my adult life, I used this brisket recipe and it turned out fabulous! And just like everyone says, I came back home after a few hours and sure enough, my apartment smelled dee-vine.
Last night I prepped everything for Jimmy Fallon’s chili (found here), so I’m looking forward to round two tonight with old Slow Cook.
It’s really a great piece and I encourage everyone to buy one. For me, since I’m more of a cook than a baker, I’d actually choose this over a KitchenAid mixer if I had to choose one bulky kitchen item to own. I consider stirring batter excersize anyway.
