Zampa Wine Bar
So with all my travel done for a bit, I’m going to try to make a comeback on here.
Saturday night I had a long overdue girl’s night out with two of my favorite friends. We ventured over to West 13th street to Zampa Wine Bar to kick off the evening and it turned out to be the perfect pick (thanks, Leslie!)
It’s a small, cozy spot with a wide selection of small plates and a great wine list. My tried out some delicious crostini (duck prosciutto and ricotta, white bean & broccoli rabe - hello!), a burrata special with prosciutto, tuna tartar, a special shaved brussel sprout salad, bruschetta, and a really yummy lamb dish. And, to our pleasant surprise, after we paid the check and were catching up still - when most servers would have been politely or not so politely asking us to leave, ours brought out a round of champagne on the house! A win in my book any day.
Yay! I think the crostinis were my favorite. And the free champagne!
