One of our first stops in L.A.: the Griddle Cafe on Sunset. That right there is the infamous Red Velvet Pancake with Crack Frosting (I named it that - a crazy mix that tasted of cream cheese and the frosting packets from Toaster Strudels. Anyone? Only my midwestern family ate those?) along with the Tequila Sunrise (huevos rancheros) and the Fiesta Scramble. We hadn’t quite jumped on to the clean, healthy, sexy living thing people in L.A. do just yet.
