Interesting little bitty on the history of Benihana given its appearance on a recent episode of Mad Men. I’m a huge fan of the show but I’ve been terrible watching it this season. In my move I decided to get rid of DVR, at least for the summer, so I’ll have to hope for some marathons this fall to catch me up. Benihana, on the other hand, is not my fave, but I appreciate its place in restaurant franchise and New York City history. And okay, I admit, the knifework stuff is fun.
