Interesting little bitty on the history of Benihana given its appearance on a recent episode of Mad Men. I’m a huge fan of the show but I’ve been terrible watching it this season. In my move I decided to get rid of DVR, at least for the summer, so I’ll have to hope for some marathons this fall to catch me up. Benihana, on the other hand, is not my fave, but I appreciate its place...

Last night Char and I headed here for dinner. Amazing views, nice waitstaff, decent food. My only complaint was the parking situation. This week I had to head to London for work. Although I spent the majority of my time sequestered in meetings at my agency’s offices, I did manage to eat some quintessentially British items that I just have to share. It was fun to think back on my time abroad and visit some old favorites. And gain some new ones!
